Step 10: Double check everything
This is the end of setting up the
initial security for your computer. Remember, there is still
quite a bit to do, but none of it will matter if all of the
above steps have not been taken. If you’ve taken all of the
above steps, your system should be clean, and protected. Go back
through the steps, and double check everything, making sure that
all of the settings for your protection software are as they
should be, and that software such as virus protection and
operating systems are set up to automatically check for
downloads. Taking the time to double check this now will save
you many headaches in the future.
