Step 8: Back up files
Now that your system is clean, you
need to back up your important files and documents. This will
save you quite a few headaches should your system become
infected later. It is important that you understand that if you
back up files that are infected, then get rid of the infection
on your system, if you use those backup disks again to open the
files, you will be infected again. It can become a never ending
headache. This is why it is important to know that your system
is clean before you backup files.
